  We were a group of 3 women who occupied a triple bedroom. The size of the room was just right. The room was clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was superb. The interior of the hotel is really nice. The location was good - roughly 15 minute walk to the train station...and another 10-15 minute walk to the center of tourist ... hva folk sier » attractions. This is a hotel that provides value for money. We definitely will stay in this hotel again should we have another opportunity to visit Lu - Boutique hotel, unique, interesting and full of history. A great place to stay - clean, comfortable, but most of all friendly and relaxed. A small hotel with a big heart and loads of character - love the lift! We had the best time at the Stern, sitting outside in the cafe, eating, drinking, meeting people and the location is perfect. The staff are lovely and made us feel so welcome and comfortable. 10/10 from us!

  Great location 10min walk to city/station. Bathrooms clean. Breakfast is the usual, cereal, toast, jam, coffee. Would recommend this hotel. Heating very good for Winter time. - Very friendly staff, nice clean room, private parking place, close to the highway and at walking distance from the city center... Really good hotel!

  First of all we were welcomed by our lovely hostess who helped with our parking and bags. Our room was larger than advertised and very comfortable and well furnished. The house is very nice and feels more like an upmarket B&B than a hotel but no marks off for that. Everyone spoke perfect English and were very helpful. Lovely breakfast. Situate... hva folk sier » d right on the lake and a nice walk into the city takes you along the waterfront towards the old town. The city of Luzern is lovely, clean and very te - The place was fantastic. People were brilliant . I think it's amongst the best stays I have had with respect to the friendly persons. Felix and his wife are lovely people and very helpful and kind natured. Really the best hosts I've ever come across. I'm definitely going back to villa Maria . Thanks so much Felix. U made our holiday even better - -Close to town - easy bus access (1 minute walk to stop) or a 15-20 minute walk to town. -Had to leave early before breakfast was actually served and one of the staff offered to set out some items for us to grab on our way out prior to the staff setting everything out for the rest of the guests. -Breakfast had a wide selection and very filling.

  Luzern is a beautiful city and we enjoyed our time there. We had a good sized room and the staff were very helpful. Parking is underneath the hotel. It was a better than the average Ibis. The train station is only a 7 min walk from the hotel and it takes only 4 min to get into Luzern. The hotel is only a short drive from the Mt Pilatus cable car. ... hva folk sier » - Very clean and comfortable. This hotel is 7 mins walk (in the direction to a car showroom, a large white tent) from Kriens Mattenhof train station, just one stop from Lucerne central station. Mount Pilatus is very near, you can reach by a bus to the funicular point of mt. Pilatus.
