  I like the hotel staff's service the most. They are so welcoming and friendly. They can speak very fluent English and very helpful to recommend some local food. One of the hotel staff even called for us to look for the restaurant which serve the local food "Rosti" that we looking for. - Superb rooftop room with balcony at a great price.   Staff were friendly and the location was fantastic. Walking distance from the train station, right across from tourist information center, and walking distance to all of the sights of Lucerne. The breakfast at Monopol was great and was included with the room, which was a nice change from the other hotels billing me for everything I even thought ... hva folk sier » about eating or drinking. I got a very good rate on my stay and the hotel room was clean and the hotel itself was very pleasant and had a lot of char - friendly and efficiently staff. Best location next to the main station. A few minutes to the old city. Breakfast is very good. Wide range of English television channel. Very quite room in spite of close to main road and station. Good supermarket nearby. Right opposite to Business School Of Luzern. Plenty of good restaurant nearby. Rooftop bar at the adjacent Monopol hotel is a must for cocktail (great view!). We plan to stay here again.

  We were a group of 3 women who occupied a triple bedroom. The size of the room was just right. The room was clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was superb. The interior of the hotel is really nice. The location was good - roughly 15 minute walk to the train station...and another 10-15 minute walk to the center of tourist ... hva folk sier » attractions. This is a hotel that provides value for money. We definitely will stay in this hotel again should we have another opportunity to visit Lu - Boutique hotel, unique, interesting and full of history. A great place to stay - clean, comfortable, but most of all friendly and relaxed. A small hotel with a big heart and loads of character - love the lift! We had the best time at the Stern, sitting outside in the cafe, eating, drinking, meeting people and the location is perfect. The staff are lovely and made us feel so welcome and comfortable. 10/10 from us!

  Close to train station, and directions were accurate. A lovely apartment, quiet, and with all facilities. Convenient to city on foot. Heating was very effective for the cold weather. Reception and farewell (by Guido) were handled efficiently and effectively.

It is very importent to knowthat there is not a minibar in each room as indicated but the minibar isin each floor and has hotel drinks in it - we traveled with a baby andwe put all we need in the hotel freedge.
