The hotel has its own car park (included in price). The staff was very friendly and helpful. It was very quiet at night, so we slept well. Our room had a balcony so we enjoyed a lovely view of the mountains in the morning. Breakfast is fine with good service. -

the view from our balcony was stunning. the room though small was really neat and kept well for the guests.
there is a restaurant in the hotel, and served good food too. outside hotels there are lots of shops and restaurants, if u just want to explore grindelwald this is a perfect place, and its a value for money too.

We loved the location, just across from the station and central to everything.
As 2 couples, we had the adjoining rooms with shared bathroom between rooms. This worked very well as each bed room had its own hand basin.
Included buffet b/fast was excellent offering a good variety including scrabbled eggs, bacon and lovely fresh bread. We also enjoyed the meals in the downstairs restaurant, where the staff were very friendly.
Big bonus, it has an elevator.

This is a lovely, family run hotel, typical of ski, hiking accommodation in this area. Fantastic view of the Eiger. Excellent breakfast provisions. Very nice home-baked bread, fresh fruit ,cereals, yoghurt, meat and cheeses. Also offered a cooked breakfast. Staff were helpful and able to provide an iron/ironing board when requested.Ample parking. Within walking distance of town. Overall the best accommodation within our 6 week holiday.

We had a beautiful stay at Berghaus Bort. The alpine views from the room was just amazing. This hotel is off the beaten track so dining options are limited to hotel restaurant which serves really good food. It is an ideal location if you are looking to just embrace the nature and hike in the mountains. Hotel wad renovated recently so Rooms are great and clean.

The original room was very nice however the room offered for the last night (which was requested after the booking) was not very nice and we checked out on that day instead of staying. The central and very peaceful location in Grindelwald with wonderful views from the balcony. The layout of the room (402) could not have been better and perfectly suited our needs. Breakfast and evening meals were very well presented, and Rita was exceptional in greeting and overseeing everybody's individual requirements, including specialist dietary needs, with confidence and a professional capability in all languages.

Although it is slightly away from the town centre, there's a free bus service (hourly) to/from the hotel which takes you there in a few minutes. Its pretty easy to get to the hotel downhill, uphill is when you want to use the bus;

I don't like the hotel near busy streets. So, I chose this place. The locaition is ideal. Not too far, not too close to the central area. The view from my room was amazing. You can get the northface of Eiger if you have a southfacing room. I think it is worth that much.
