  The host Peter was very friendly and met us at the station and even offered us a lift despite the fact that the hotel is not more than 5 mins of walking. The appartments were good with a descent kitchen. The location is 5 - 10 mins by bus form Interlaken which is really close.   The view of the mountains from the balcony was fabulous, wonderful, words can't describe. The buffet breakfast was fantastic. Loved the small kitchenette in the room and the indoor pool. Loved the indoor garage for our car, a great advantage when unloading and loading. Liked the kids play room, a great service to offer. We stayed in the AlpenRose Haus and our veiw of the lakes and mountains were stunning. The hotel is the most kid friendly we have stayed at in our 5 years of living in Europe. We had a toddler bed set up on arrival and a kiddie bath kit with toys and a duck body cloth. And the price was amazing. Thank you.

  Friendly family run small hotel. Good view of lake from dinning room and can swin near the pier down hill, about 5 mins walk. Few minutes drive from downtown Interlaken but the room price is more reasonable than other hotel. Breakfast is sufficient and juice and coffee always got refilled. They handle our washing and drying for just 12Franc per l... hva folk sier » oad. We enjoyed our stay and will return. They have a large carpark and parking is free. I stayed in a 4 persons room and is good size. Some of their - The Price is low, therefore we didn't expect luxury. However: Friendly owner, spacious room with view to the lake, free WIFI working also in room. We've taken supper in the Restaurant which was very good, breakfast also ok. Distance to Interlaken is no problem, bus every 30 minutes (no bus in the evening)

  Just the view from the terrace of our room was worth the trip. The Thun lake below and the Jungfrau complex in front. Amazing!. The room was simple but large and clean. Free parking and free WIFI but since thick walls in the room there was good signal in the corridor out of the door. Interlaken is 15 minutes drive, but you few nice rest
