This is a great hotel, not only for it's great location and for it's excenllent service while we were stay in the hotel, but also for their very nice help while we got trouble in our travelling.

I stayed here for three nights and as several other guests have mentionned, the location is great. Bern old town is walkable so no need for public transportation. The free WiFi worked very well and the shared bathrooms were clean and always available. Did not eat the included in the price breakfast so I have no comments on that. An orchestra played downstairs quite loud (nice music!) but not too late so no problems to sleep. I will come back here next time I spend some days in Switzerland's cap

Gurnigelbad is a large older chalet hotel set on a mountain with beautiful views. Our room was good sized with a small bathroom and a dormer view of the countryside. Good internet connection and a great breakfast with lots of selection and some of the best croissants. -
