This was a very pleasant pension. We had a double and a single room for our daughter. The rooms were spotlessly clean and comfortable. It was quite well located with only a ten minute walk to the old town where we spent a lot of time. The coffee which is free was lovely. Would definitely use this pension when we return to visit our son. Great break!. The location is very close to San Sebastian RENFE station. It is also couple of minute to the beach. It is very clean and almost new since the owner just repaint the pension. It is definetiley worth place to stay and if I am going to san sebastian, I will definitely come back to this pension.
alle vurderinger » We were lucky enough to get Room 101, which is the biggest room. Lovely modern new room with balcony. Located perfectly, 10 minutes from old town and beach. Free tea and coffee fantastic. The only one we got in 9 different hotels in Spain. Fantastic helpful staff. The service was outstanding. It is a small, privately owned / operated place; the owner / manager couldn't have been more helpful. The room was very clean and comfortable; the location is perfect for Pintxos hunters. Fantastic hotel. Beautiful design, comfortable, 12 euro parking nearby (rare for San Sebastian), lovely English-speaking staff, inexpensive, near to the city centre. They do almost everything perfectly. It was a surprise for us. Just in the center of San Sebastian all the interesting places in a walking distance. Very clean, cosy, minimal and the receptionist very helpful. the people who work at Ondarra are lovely. The room was clean and modern, nice bathroom. all around very pleasant stay and perfect for me. Parking is also a 5-10 min walk. Good breakfast places right opposite the pension. Clean and renovated rooms. The girl on reception was lovely and helpful. The bed was comfortable. Good location. All was good. None!. Parking the car in a public car park was not great. Also it was a fair walk with luggage etc.. But don't let that put you off. Its a real gem. No negatives. The street noise was significant. Luckily we had ear-plugs...but even on a Sunday night it was noisy until 4am. Also: it was surprisingly cold at night, even with the heat on and extra blankets. They should turn the heat up a bit when it's 4 c outside. However, it's still a great hotel and we would return. mmh，can heard next door clearly。。hahaha. Nothing. Nothing really..a little bit of street noise but close to the main road and I am not a good sleeper. Nothing-this is our second visit and our friends really appreciated our choice. We read that the room was on the small side but did not expect the bed to be so tiny. The "double" bed could barely fit 2 small Asian people. When we commented, the lady at the desk said "the beds are all small in Spain". This was our 4th week in Spain and no where else in Spain was the bed that small. Also, the bed was very uncomfortable, you could feel the springs when you laid on it. If the owner invested in new good beds, this would be a good small value pension. Pity. The air con was not keeping the single room cool at all. The blind could not be closed, it was broken and waiting repair man to fix. It was like daylight in the room all night so not good at all for sleeping. If these two things were fixed it would be fine.
