  This is a stunning hotel in a stunning setting. Surrounded by mountains on three sides with far reaching views across the countryside. The food is always first class and sometimes exceptional; they produced imaginative alternatives for a non meat eater. The service is friendly, responsive and relaxed. We had high expectations of the hotel and they were exceeded in every respect. - Fantastic peaceful location tucked away in the foothills. A great get away from it all holiday destination. Rooms are really lovely. The only comment I would make is that the location wouldn't be suited to those less able to walk due the rustic nature of paths. Fantastic food. Will go back again without doubt.

  Just got back and everything about this place is as good as earlier reviews say it is. I was tempted not to add comments so I could keep this gem to myself. We were staying B/B so cannot comment on the evening meal but the breakfast was excellent, with choice galore & as much (or little) as you wish from fresh fruit, cooked and continental br... hva folk sier » eakfasts, omelettes etc. The hotel staff & their service is great throughout from the front desk, bar-staff to the nice ladies who clean the rooms - The staff are excellent: professional and competent whilst also friendly and good humoured. The Hotel Illa d'Or has a magnificent setting, with wonderful views both of sea and mountains; and located in a quiet spot towards the end of the Pine Walk, which makes a lovely short promenade to the centre.   The staff were excellent, on every level. Very child friendly with kids club, indoor pool was a life send in the bad weather. Apartment was a great size for our family of 5.   Very modern hotel with large rooms and spacey balconies. Absolutely quiet location close to the beaches (150m). Very nice pool area with plenty of sunbeds. Indoor pool and gym also available, but we did not use it. Very good choices at breakfast and also for dinner. Since the quality of most restaurants in Cala Millor is not really convincing we r... hva folk sier » ecommend strongly to book half pension for an incredibly small amount of money (7 eur!!!). At the time of our stay (end of April) the price- quality r - All the staff has been amazingly pleasant and making you feel welcome. The hotel is very well equipped and modern, as are the rooms.   The staff is very friendly and you really have the feeling that they are there to take care of you. The hotel is a very good and the rooms are great.
