  We had just finished the Camino de Santiago and wanted some luxury which we got here in bucketloads! Staff treated you like family, free aperitifs at night - organic from the garden Delicious! We took the bikes up to the lighthouse and had a great ride. We spent the afternoon treating ourselves, first the shower is something to behold! Fabulous location overlooking sandy beach with wonderful sunsets. Hosts that offer excellent service, for instance, I mentioned an allergy when booking and received an email back from the owners immediately assuring me they would accommodate my dietary needs. A kitchen where we were welcomed to help ourself to drinks and home made cake. Nothing was too much trouble.

Victor greeted us after hours and showed us how to access secure underground parking (only €5/ day), directions to all the spots and to his family run mini supermarket directly downstairs, and a bakery over the road. Owner was really helpful. Private parking was a bonus in their underground car park and the key system worked really well. We would happily have stayed longer.

  The owners and staff were very friendly. And although our Spanish was non existent as was their English we managed some form of understanding. All adding to the enjoyment of the holiday. Our room was clean and tidy and really good value. Carino was quite a poor town and we just used it as a base to travel around the area.
