While the street is very quiet (and safe), the building is soundproof. This apartment/hotel is in a historical building that has been recently rehabilitated with great care by the owner and his wife, who is an interior designer.

  This hotel was a delight. It is situated about 50m from a lovely beach and our room and balcony overlooked the sea. The Alen do mar is in a quiet, secluded spot but is in easy reach of the town of Fisterra, with its many restaurants. The breakfast was full and delicious and the service was wonderful. The people running t - Hotel was really nice in a great location right next to beach in the woods a short drive from Fisterra. It had a really new feel as did the room which features a large balcony. Breakfast was served in stages unlike the usual Buffet style and was presented well. Staff were very friendly.

The room was perfect - really comfortable bed, and a sofa and tables at one end of the room, also a large en-suite. The location was beautiful, and utterly quiet - apart from birdsong! We definitely want to return one day...

  The breakfast was excellent We had the 3/4 course meal each evening as did nearly all of the guests- traditional Galician food especially shell fish and local fish. very friendly accommodation - Beautiful accommodation, very kind service, excellent dinner (extra) and the best breakfast we had on our trip.   The location, peaceful and rural but just a few minutes by car from stunning beaches, is perfect and has excellent outside space. Inside the hotel everything is spotlessly clean and a lot of thought has gone into making the best use of space. The owners, Monica and Alex (they both speak English), are an absolute delight and nothing is too much tro... hva folk sier » uble for them. They provide a level of service all too rarely found these days. Breakfasts are varied but always good and sufficient; like the evening - Alex and Monica's hospitality. They were ever so helpful in recommending places to visit and foods to try . We especially loved the way they shared their knowledge and passion of their culture and heritage through their beautiful breakfasts and our conversations.
