Wow - what a wonderful place to rest, relax and explore the “Ruta de los Pueblos Blancos”. The interior decoration of the Cortijo El Guarda is just fantastic, every detail is perfect. Miranda and Hans are wonderful hosts. You really feel like you are staying in their home, not just their hotel. My husband and I liked everything about the hostal alcoba, from the welcome we received to the décor, little touches such as fresh flowers, slippers and bathrobes in our room. The apartment has a beautiful interior, with outstanding tile flooring and high quality furniture throughout. The one bedroom apartment is plenty spacious for two people for one week. the clothes washing machine was very convenient, and a folding rack is provided for air drying clothes. the building seems secure and the on site management is very professional. the building is a short walk to the Alhambra and the Cathedral.
