  Everything is lovely at this hotel as long as you have good weather. The food was better than ever and our room was quite large as a side sea view room, certainly enough for two people.   I give La Cala 100% -- its really wonderful ... very clean , touch of class , superb food and service and the views are amazing .   The staff and accomodation were excellent even though we arrived in the early hours of the morning - Modern hotel, excellent facilities and swimming pool, ideally placed for Malaga airport (5 mins drive away) and secure car park. 10€ taxi ride to centre of Malaga.

  It is located in the village of Las Negras, it feels a bit as if it was in the middle of the desert, and in fact, I think it may very well be. Fortunately very little English is spoken here and this is a huge advantage in my opinion unlike spoilt places like Marbella and other crowded tourist traps in southern Spain. The staff were very attentive and let me use their computer and printer and gave me great advice in
