  The Hostal Gat Raval was a fantastic place from which to explore Barcelona. The location and indeed the street Joaqim Costa are excellent. On leaving the Hostal there is a buzz about, cafes, bars and restaurants are easy to find and have an air of cool without being pretentious. The hostal is very clean and welcoming. The location was just perfect, across the street from Park de Ciudadella (for the kids was a must, as they could run on the grass and burn energy:)).The Zoo is located inside this park!
