The hotel was just a 5 min top walking distance from the metro station in a quiet, with not many tourists, neighbourhood. (The city centre was about a 15min metro ride away). The hotel was excellent value for money. We had a little kitchen with fridge so we could prepare our own breakfast. The hotel is outside the main tourist area and the local people are very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed some great food in the area and I would recommend eating a plate of Iberico at the butcher's terrace. Barcelona itself was very easy to reach by subway, it goes directly to the Sagrada Familia. Overall a great place if you want to enjoy Barcelona but want to stay away from the

Staff were lovely always very helpful. Hotel is a in walk from the llacuna metro stop and it's about 10mins into las ramblas! The area itself is lovely right on la rambla poblenou which is full of bars and restaurants and leads down to the sea front from there it's a stroll to the Olympic port which has more bar clubs and restaurants we loved our stay and the location. Also about a 20min walk to the diagonal shopping center and the barcelona tourist bus stops nearby. Great location and cheap pe

I liked a lot Barcelona.I is a great city .Hotel Everest was also a very good choice for our holiday .Staff were very friendly. I like the location as a solo traveller it is away from the bustle of the centre, but close to La Sagrada Familia and Hospital de Sant Pau. On previous visits I have stayed in one of the apartments - very good. All the rooms are spotlessly clean, beds are comfortable. Big bathroom, again spotlessly clen.
