  I loved the staff and their desire to give excellent customer service. We had an issue with our room because the hotel is undergoing renovations. The staff gladly upgraded us to a suite without extra charge. All rooms clean and well designed, and the facilities in bathrooms are very good. This hostel also has a lovely backyard where you can enjoy sunshine and food with your friends. Fully access to the use of refrigerator, microwave oven, kettle in the shared space. Plus very good location, just near the Girona metro station.   Great place. This is old building with very high ceiling and a lot of air, with beautiful old (18th century original or looking original) style decor on walls and ceiling. The porch has two big stairs and elevator is typical for this old buildings - with manual doors and small metal cage. Old huge doors on entry to the hall and the window is basic... hva folk sier » ally two huge doors as well with embedded windows. Looks very cool. Our room has great balcony with street view. As for the room it was clean, bed was - It's rather a budget one, but the location is very good, very close not only to Plaza Catalunya but also to Parc de la Cuitadella. A very interesting atmosphere of an old house, with once rather luxurious wooden decorations, now a little bit aging, but still alluring. The rooms are small but clean. A word of advice: go for a "superior room" with the balcony. It's an essential feature for a beautiful late night session after you have enjoyed full day in the city.

  The staff was super helpful, attentive and always keen to offer suggestions on great places to see and eat. The hostel, which is one of my first, was super clean and for the most part quiet. The place is modern and new and in a great location: City Center. That means it's near everything. For the Americans like myself that migh - The front desk was a lot of help and said exactly where to go. They are helpful and accommodating. Free wifi and a computer to use for free too. Free breakfast of croissants, cereal, and coffee. The other guest are nice, friendly, and respectful. I stayed for 5 nights and never had troubles getting to sleep.
