This is a family-owned place that is very well maintained and has a congenial staff and atmosphere. For protracted stays the rooms are better suited for single occupancy where space allows a comfortable chair. But for short stays the twin (there are no doubles) occupancy is perfectly adequate. The staff is friendly and ready to help , the location is perfect ,very close to the famous street La Rambla . The neighborhood ,although it may seems a bit unsafe ,actually is very lively , a blend of different peoples ,different bars and shops and if you have time to explore it you may find it interesting.If you are looking for a very basic place, this hostel is a good value for money.
