  The hostal was ok, nothing luxurious but clean and comfortable. The facility is located on a house and has the reception on the second floor and the rooms on the fifth floor. This was not optimal since one has to ring a bell on the fifth floor to get the main door opened there (the receptionist opens the door from the second floor by watching on a... hva folk sier » video camera located on the fifth floor). It happened that I had to ring the bell at least 10 times before getting the door opened. Apart from that t - Booked a single room. Small but wasn't expecting much. Good wifi in reception (2nd floor) but nothing in room. Very good location, very good value (paid £24 per night), not much noise from nearby bathroom but you may want to take earplugs

  Pepe and his wife were really helpful and gave us excellent specific advice especially on where to go and how to travel with young children and held onto our luggage after check out as we had a late flight. This enabled us to get the most out of our stay without the children getting too tired. Excellent distance from metro, supermarket and cafes/r... hva folk sier » estaurants. Apartment was very comfy and stylishly decorated without having to be too precious about it and everything was thought of that we could ha - Location is great: 2 min walking from Girona metro station, 7 min walking from Passeig de Gracia metro/train station. Also walking distance to Ramblas de Catalunya. Excellent for shopping, restaurants, caffe'-s and more of "real" Barcelona. Apartments look exactly like in the picture: modern, super clean, neat, new, well equpied. (a new building behind an old facade) Staff is super friendly, helpful and clear on all the costs/options. I will stay there again.

  We rented two apartments in Gran Via Bassols for a long weekend, my wife and I in one, and my sister-in-law and partner in another. Both apartments were in new condition and perfectly clean. The space, fixtures and appliances were all good quality and everything worked perfectly. It was also very secure, with an outside main door to the building (... hva folk sier » own key provided) and a solid door to each of the apartments. So no concerns about leaving our valuables alone. Highly recommend these apartments. We - Javier the owner was very helpful and profesional. Location is perfect right next to a metro station and close enough to walk to main centre. The appartment was perfect, clean spacious and well equiped. Next time i am in town i would not think twice about staying here again. In fact i am looking forward to it already.
