Jose is wonderful host, save us money by giving many usefull informations, and fulfill some our wishes; he is very reliable. There is many good and cheap markets, restaurants, taco bars, shops and other in the neighborhood, and it is close to city center and many other Barcelona sights. Apartment was very clean, spacious and comfortable.

I like everything very much. The services is great. The rooms were allways clean (the towels changed every day) and confortable. The location of the hostal Oliveta is very convienent. Just couple minutes from metro station Parallel, also you can easily reach the old quarter, La Ramblas on foot. It will take 10-15 minutes to walk.

Stayed for 8 days, in the beginning, the hotel was the mistakes, and they booked us a room to other guests were settled, we proposed a more modest room, two days later freed ours, previously reserved room. Apartments highly recommended. We got a very warm welcome on arrival from the owner, who gave as area maps, marked important things like supermarkets, pharmacy, metro, shops, places to visit e.t.c.
Staff is always willing to help.
We were allowed to check-in 1,5 hours before stated time (just let them know what time you expect to arrive).
