  I stayed in a private room with shared bathrooms at C40. The room was relatively large but simple. I stayed on the second floor where there was a kitchen however cutlery and cups were scarce. The common area and terrace on this floor were great ideas however I never saw anyone using them. The metro station is right outside the door so you can get very quickly to the city center.   The apartment is located in the centre of Barcelona (close to the cathedral). It's a proper apartment for two people or maybe three if you don't have any problems sleeping on a couch. The interior is okay for you won't stay too long insinde the apartment. There is a TV (we didn't used it and a good music station for iphone ....).
