This pleasant hotel is set in a restored 18th Century farmhouse, at the foot of the Sierra Bernia Mountains. We only spent one night at Casa del Maco and wish we would have stayed longer! The hotel is up the hills, has a significant view, a nice pool and the atmosphere is absolutely friendly and relaxing. The breakfast was delicious. We are more than happy with our choice, it was absolutely worth the money and a very pleasant stay. This is a tiny hotel ( 6 rooms only) as the main focus of the establishment is the restaurant.The staff were friendly and helpful at all times. The room was of a high standard with an excellent bathroom with waterfall shower. The restaurant was expensive for the Costa Blanca but high quality and the food was delicious.
