The hotel was in a great location! Right near the Rablas and metro. Thehotel was very comfortable and clean. We would definitely stay thereagain. CAn't beat the price either.
Friendly, and very helpful staff who all spoke English. Although no tea making facilities, staff found us a kettle and cups. Good door security. Staff on duty 24 hours. Traditional Spanish decor with a homely atmosphere. High standard of cleanliness. Freshly decorated rooms all with air conditioning. Spacious shower. Very central but quiet location only 2 minutes away from la Ramblas. Loved it.

very good situation - close to the Ramblas
Very nice, clean hotel. I came to see Barcelona, the hotel served itspurpose. It was in the heart of the city. Of course, it comes with aprice... It gets noisy at night. But this is Barcelona!
No elevator, no tv. There was no hair dryer in the room, I had to askfor it. But this was very minor.
Its convenient location. It is right next to the placa catalunya metro station and The Ramblas and the airport bus. We had been staying further up the coast and this was our stopping off point before flying home.
Unfortunately we were in an apartment on the fourth floor and there is no lift, however, the location, staff friendliness etc more than made up for this. We have recommended this hotel to friends and they have enjoyed their stay there.

For some reason they had made a mistake with our booking, and although we clearly had a booking for two rooms, they only had us down for one. They did however offer us an alternative.

Breakfast is served in cafe for smokers. Room was very small and wallsare so thin that you can hear all guests in rooms around you.
Construction nearby--very noisy during the day.
