This apartement has great price/locality balance. We got an apartement on address Jaume Giralt No.7 and it was 10 min of walk to La Rambla.
Internet didn't work!! We called an office (tel.number that should have been available 24/7) and nobody answered on Saturday. Next day the picked up and when I told them we want them to fix the internet because we paid for it, they replied we paid for the apartement and internet was a free bonus and they didn't fix it!!!

Very affordable at amazing location. Large enough apartment with two bathrooms, two showers. And well equipped with everything you need.
Not enough lamps so apartment and staircase were pretty dark. We were not given the apartment location until after ordering. Only one key for our entire group made things hard.

We stayed in apartment Jaume Giralt str. 7. Almost everything was great - location was perfect (2km from beach, 0,5km from Rambla, in a realy nice neighbourhood), rooms were clean, interior was nice (everything from Ikea;), all kitchen equipment, wi-fi, hairdryer was missing, but after one call to staff, problem was fixed in two hours. I would recommend this apartment, but advise you to bring earplugs with you ;)
We didin't like only two things - beeing charged 30Eur for late check in and no sound insulation. Even with closed windows you could hear every word people outside are saying, neighbours telephone ringing and etc.. and as you know Barcelona never sleeps ;) But we solved the problem by using earplugs.

it was down a laneway, and there was people sleeping on the street, was a bit daunting first time in the city, also the lighting was very poor, because of its location

Next doors office very difficult to find. no signs on the doors, was waiting outside about 30 min, until somebody opens the doors.
We stayed at The 'Royal Antic' apartment behind Placa Reial. We were very concerned reading the reviews after I booked this accommodation and I thought we would either end up somewhere that did not reflect the photos or with no hot water or air conditioning...I Have to say it was just like the pictures on the website and everything worked just fine. It was a very stylish apartment and my friends loved it. It is located in the gothic quarter, a characteristic of the area is its narrow streets and old buildings, consequently there wasn’t a lot of light, I expected this as the buildings are very old. The only thing that let it down was the communal stairway, which on approach looked like an entrance to a dungeon, but don’t let that put you off, the accommodation was perfect. We had to pay 20 euros to pick up the keys from the office as it was a public holiday (and there are lots of them in Barcelona so it was hard to avoid). The holding deposit is only taken from your account if you damage the apartment, it is not a mandatory advanced payment, and this was not very clear on the website. Make sure you read the small print – you have to empty the bins before you leave- do not leave any rubbish in the apartment. All things considered I will be using this company again. Cheap, great location and they delivered what was marketed on their independent website, check it before booking or call them to ensure you get the apartment you want.
The communal entrance and climbing four flights of stairs with our luggage, but we stayed in the center just off the Ramblas - the buildings are old!
Location was great. It was as shown in picture when booked. Two bathrooms were a bonus. Quite spacious.
The apartment always seemed musty when returning. The doors to the balcony need the locking mechanism fixed. The bedroom shower requires attention. General tidy up with skirting boards etc
Good value for money. Our apartment was in the Gothic district and was only a 5-10 minute walk from la Rambla. Plenty of supermarkets and restaurants close by. Beds were comfortable, apartment was fully air conditioned and was clean save for some dust on the living room floor.
Only real downside was that the tenants/owners of the apartment above were incredibly noisy, and the noise carried through the building.
The apartment is new, well furnish, full of all comforts. We liked e v e r y t h i n g!

The location was brilliant. We were within short walking distance to Las Ramblas, and there were bus stops and taxi ranks and small shops and restaurants close by. The décor of the apartment was beautiful, and there was a lift in the building.
We were a group of 5 friends so only having one key made things a bit inconvenient. For example, when we went to look at the roof terrace; we all had to go there with the key so that we didn't get locked up there. The key has to be used in the apartment for everything to work. Otherwise it was fine for what we needed!
We had all we needed- the house was really clean and need! As described on the page they provided us the best they could do! We felt like in our own house! And the stuff was very kind and helpful!
The fantastic roof top terrace with the jacuzzi and nice broad view over the city and the rising sun!

I literally liked everything in the apartment, It was fully equipped. Had over 30 towels, two complete bathrooms, perfect design.
I got only one pair of Keys, where we needed at least two pairs.
The large bathroom and close proximity to the markets and monuments. The repairman man was prompt and very helpful.
It was unclear when booked the location/address of the apartment I rented. Who knows where I could have ended up, but luckily it turned out to be a wonderful neighborhood. The ac broke on Thursday when we checked in, it was fixed Monday. The washing machine broke half way through the week and was fixed the next day. Also upon arrival the bathroom door did not close due to water damage at the head.
After reading of many disappointed guests who had stayed at Barcelona Next-door I was a bit worried about how the apartment would be like. When arriving in Barcelona we had no problems with staff, cleaning, or anything else for that matter. The apartment was nice, large and at a perfect location. It had what we needed, everything it had promised. I will try to rent the same place when I go back.

Fantastic location - quietly set just behind the Rambla. Friendly neighbours. Great amenities. Staff were fantastic - had a problem with the internet and they sent someone to fix it within the hour. Would definitely recommend to friends, and book with them again!

The convenience of the location was excellent.
No laundry facility or iron on site. We bought an iron and had to leave it due to space. Hopefully the next tenants get to use it. Futon could have been a sleeper sofa for more comfort. No wifi even after given two passwords.

Everything was very good with the appartment. Person collect keys from was very helpful and helped us find way around.
Just one minor thing was the receptionist to the building where you collect keys doesn't speak English- minor

Not hot water after first person shower (we were 4 person in the ap.) We got only one Key (if you want the second one, you have to pay 30 EUR extra)

The cooking facility is quite nice.
It was indeed very exhausting to go to the reception first and then to the apartment when the two of them were far away from each other. And the direction to the reception office is very confusing and hard to find. Frankly speaking, the nigh-shift staff there was not very kind. There were loud music and people partying outside for the three days apartment we were at staying Cathedral 33.

The apartment was freshly painted, but not a very good job. One pot and one fry pan is not a well stocked kitchen. There was no broom or mop
The location and set-up of the apartment are fantastic , the team is very nice and efficient and the place is well-equipped.
It was not very clean, spiderwebs, sticky dishes, ants and a not freshly washed bed linen. On top of that smelling mold in a few corners. Some of the equipment didn't work, the terrace door didn't lock and the desk chairs were broken. All of that was not such a horrible thing, but it's a shame that the team did not even answer to my mail about these issues.
There wasnt enough hot water, so a few of us had to shower with cold water in the winter. The apartment was a long walk and cars could not reach there. We had to carry our suitcases very far. This was the zeus apartment in Born.
Camp nou it was nice and I liked market
I didn't liked apartment becous was to small for us was only 1 bed room and my doghter slept in same bed was we.. I did slept on sofa :)

The apartment is not the one shown in the booking, they are the ofices and it is located somewhere else, you have to pay 50 euros extra charge for cleaning service and they only clean before you arrive and after you leave??? Also e arrived 2 min past 8:00 pm and they charged us an extra 20 euro because last time check in is 8:00 sharp ahh and internet doenst work when it is free, I will recomend this hotel as last option.
