The host eventually answered his phone and said that he was not expecting anybody as nobody had advised him of the booking. Great location close to the beach and restaurants. Wonderful view of the sea from the open deck. Very amiable hosts. Good braai facilities including wood, charcoal and firelighters. Vouchers for breakfast at the restaurant next door; 60 rands in value PP which is enough for a full english, an extra round of toast, coffee and enough left over for a tip for the friendly waiter.

I loved the attention to detail...it all felt very personal and not at all institutionalised. It has all the charm of a country hotel but with style. The staff were all friendly and attentive.
