  We arrived at Lion's Rock not knowing what to expect as the internet was our only reference. We were met by very friendly and accommodating staff and throughout our stay they could not do enough to make us feel welcome and satisfied. The rooms were comfortable and very clean and with great views. We learned about the Four Paws organisation on the ... hva folk sier » game drive and were in total awe at the immensity of this extraordinary project to save and rehabilitate traumatised, wild life. Lion, white lion, ben - Lionsrock is highly specific in what it is and what it does. For that reason it is a very interesting place to visit - for a day or so. It is a little inaccisible vis-a-vis other attractions around the eastern Free State, reinforcing the need for a short visit. Staff and facilities are good for a 3-star establishment.
