  This hotel lived up to all our expectations and more. We arrived at 10.30am and expected to just leave our luggage, but we were given our room straight away. All the staff were very accommodating and the room was very pleasant. The road was bellow our room but we did not hear any noise at all. A lovely big bath was a treat. We would like to have stayed longer. - The staff is extremely knowledgable and friendly, the hotel is almost a B&B but with private facilities, easy to walk to most in town attractions, excellent breakfast very good and convenient before the start to the day, good connection to WIFI. They also have a good network of local experts if you are looking for a guide (ask for Domingo)

  This was an excellent hotel. It was situated just outside the Waterfront and although you could walk there, they had a courtesy bus that ran every half hour. It was also situated near to the cental area. We arrived early and they looked after our luggage until the room was ready. The room was clean and had all the facilities you would expect. The rooms and service is very good. The location of the hotel is good and the use of the free shuttle to the Vand A water front is very useful. If you get a good rate this is the hotel to stay in.

  Apartment hotel room was large and fully equipped for extended stays and had an excellent location close to eateries and clubs and added plus a great view of Table Mountain. - Great Location. Amazing Service. Parking a bit expensive, but you can park outside for cheaper. Even overnight!!

  Not an ultramodern hotel but rather a well maintained hotel with a more genteel feel. The rooms were nicely sized, comfortable bed and kept spotless by the staff. The rooms were well soundproofed so you had no extraneous noise from other rooms. The restaurant was pleasant and the food well above average. The hotel is quite well placed in a slightly quieter part of town next to the parliament buildings but only a 10 minute strol - Staff eager to help us as we arrived early were leaving late and had to leave luggage at hotel. We were upgraded to double rooms with views of Table Top. A cheap taxi ride or walk from all the major city sites. Excellent breakfast included. Rooms spacious with all facilities. Compared with our hotel in Rio on the same trip and for the same price Townhouse was streets ahead. Can't wait to go back to Cape Town and when I do there's only one place I'll be staying - The Townhouse.

  We have never seen a hotel like this, everything was really wonderful. Upon our arrival we were even upgraded (for no additional costs!!) to a Luxury Suite. The stuff was really helpful and very pleasant, rooms and bathrooms were very clean and very spacious. The hotel is situated right in the city centre, just 2-minute walk from Long Street. Also, the hotel arranges airport transfers and the guy who was - The willingness of the staff to find solutions to problems. Our reservation had somehow not come through correctly via letsbookhotel.com and they did not have any rooms left. The offered us a room at another hotel, and eventually they arranged that we could stay in the original hotel but in a larger room than booked.

  Beliggenhet - Staff very friendly and helpful; everything within walking distance. - The people at the hotell were so nice to us.THey helped us with evereything we asked for and even some things we didnt ask for. The location is excellent and I dont think you can find better value for the money in Cape Town.

  Spaciousness and layout of the room - Although the hotel was old (and currently being renovated) it was clean and comfortable, nothing particularly distressing. Breakfast was good, though it's debatable whether it's worth the R130 you can save if you choose not to have it.

  I was very much satisfied with my stay at the hotel. I got an outstanding service, the place is very much comfortable. i was very much impressed by the fact that i paid for my internet access voucher for wireless, but when they found out that the server was done, i was kindly refunded. Very good service and keep it up fountains hotel. - Even tho... hva folk sier » ugh the guest review was not very encouraging and I had booked two two double rooms, when we checked the hotel staff upgraded us to a penthouse double room with a kitchen and Hall room without extra payment. I must thank the hotel for this consideration. Overall it was an amazing experience.
