  The owners of the Melvin Houser are fantastic... we arrived late at night, 2 days ahead of our reservation, due to travel changes, and not only did they allow us to change our reservation right then, but they were lovely about it and so warm and helpful, even letting us hop on their personal computer to cancel our Joburg hotel that night.Breakfast... hva folk sier » was lovely, and the location is great...just a short walk to the Union Buildings. - I would recommend Melvin Residence to anyone on business or taking kids to University in Pretoria. Easy wlak to the Union Buildings; you can walk to the city center - 15 to 20 minutes. Home away from home feeling, Wifi in the room really helped since the Network is bad in - We needed just to spend a night somewhere, after the long flight to SA, and we decided to stop in Pretoria. The hotel was very comfortable, we enjoyed our stay. The room was large and comfortable; it had a fully equipped kitchen. A fourth bed was added, for our two children. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The room was very clean. We appreciated also the parking just below the rooms.
