  Room exceptionally clean,staff very warm and helpful.Breakfast server with a smile by Your friendly chefs and staff. l would have rated excellent on facilities,but telephone was not working and had to go downstairs to order room service which was a nightmare. Food server was horrible,given wrong order drink,to top it all,it was delivered 1/30(one ... hva folk sier » and half) hout after l ordered,had to use ny cellphone to het it as it was very late and was tired of walking to and fro. That spoilt My whole stay as - The staff was very friendly and warm. We were treated very well. The location of the hotel was very central to most tourist attractions and there was a great vibe. The breakfast was very nice as well. The hotel was ideal for a family as the fridge, kettle with beverages and sink plus microwave was a bonus as it made it possible to save on costs by not having to eat out and enjoy meals in the hotel, appreciating the views in the dining area. The hotel gets a 10/10 from me and i really got value

  I stayed at the Tropicana in December 2010 and was not impressed at all. During my last stay I notced a remarkable improvement, i.e refurbishment, staff, etc. Well done! - The fact that it is on the beach front and our bus just dropped us at the door, that was awesome. Value for money as well.

  Although its in the city, you don't get to hear to city noise and the views from the hotel are very nice - From arrival to departure, we were made to feel that we were guests and not just people to fill rooms. We would stay there again when next we visit Durban.

  Excellent!!! Like others who have stated...I rarely leave comments ...I had read some negative comments which made me somewhat uncomfortable..wanted to stay on the Beach..but I am glad I chose Quarters..the staff was one of the Nicest and Friendliest I have ever encountered...breakfast was GREAT..Rooms perfect..I have traveled from Alaska to Cape... hva folk sier » town and a whole lot of places in between...so if you read negative comments..Please Disregard..great Indian Restuarant down the street ...Vintage...i - The staff were excellent; friendly service, more than accommodating. Room was perfect. Bathroom were lovely. The meals were delicious, room service was quick, and when I was sick for a day in bed, the staff were more than happy to check up and see if I needed anything. Very, very much appreciated and one of the nicest places to stay at a good rate. Highly recommended.
