  Everything. Location: In an elevated position over Bantry Bay with brilliant views. Room: The whole premise is very modern and extremely spacious. We were in room number 10 with partial sea view and our room had a sitting area with coffee/tea making facilities and fresh fruit and a large TV. Bathroom: Again very spacious and modern, with a bathtub and separate shower. The toilet is a separate - 52 De Wet is an amazing boutique hotel nested in a cul-de-sac uphill Bantry Bay. The room we stayed in was HUGE (Penthouse), with ample space, comfortble bed, two spacious walk-in closets, luxurious bathroom (bathtub with seaview was great). Giant balcony, beautiful design furniture, friendly and helpful staff/mngrs/owners (we even borrowed the front desk laptop for a few hours to make wire transfers for our next destination).   As there were no other bookings in the main house Elisabeth the owner upgraded us to one of the better rooms upstairs and we had the whole house to ourselves. The house is beautifully decorated and great for a group as its self catering. Best hardware of all hotels I have ever stayed - Atlantic Ocean View in front, table mountain at back, big / beautiful / clean house with a big heat swimming pool best hospitality - they can arrange most tours for you with pick up from the guest house, great breakfast, nicely offer late check out and free laundry (i havent seen ... hva folk sier » this service before). in conclusion, they think as if they are the guests instead of owners - Beautiful Guest house, lovely staff, amazing views, although it's not cheap it is very good value as you are given lots of fabulous little extras and the welcome high tea is delicious. Location was great & just a short walk from the top of Long Street and some good restaurants. Waterfront was a decent walk or a fairly quick taxi ride. Compared to some friends who were staying at numerous backpackers in and around Long Street, this sounded superior & I would definitel - It was my second time at this hostel and I came back three years later because I liked it. Apart from it being excellent for what is officially a backpackers place I really appreciate the attitude of owners and staff who are supporting community projects and take recycling seriously, something that is still not very wide spread in South Africa. Excellent Sandwiches and breakfast.
