  The manager who went out of his way to make our stay more comfortable by providing an extra room. The hotel is full of character and beautiful - rooms are comfortable and equipped with everything you could need including bottled water. The breakfast was full of variety and delicious. A very pleasant place to stay, only a quick taxi ride (or reasonable walking distance if so desired) of the V&A waterfront. There are also a number of restaurants/bars closer to the guest house if you didn't want to go further afield every night. I would happily visit again.

  The staff were all very friendly and eager to show me around and explain the facilities to me. The breakfast buffet had a large variety and was very well-priced (I had a guest join me). It really is very good value for money. - We really enjoyed staying at Wilton Manor, everybody is extremely nice and kind, since the person that receives you when you arrive to the ladies that serve you breakfast. The room is very clean and the location is in a residential area, which is close to the waterfront and to Long street (we were with a car). Breakfast was delicious and very well served, we would definitively stay there again.

  The location was amazing, only a minutes walk to everything. The staff are extremely helpful and there are really nice restaurants and bars nearby and it is very safe in that location.   We stayed in Cape Standard for 4 nights and had the perfect experience. David and his staff are amazing, very helpful and easy-going and made us feel very welcome. They assist you with everything and recommended really good places to eat where to locals go as well. Because the room, was not being used on our last day, they offered us to keep it until our plane left at night which was just great. Br - The outside courtyard is really lovely and peaceful. A great place to have breakfast or relax in the afternoon.

  Highly recommended! Burt and Bev are wonderfull people who really make you feel at home and let you do your own thing. Basicly the whole top floor is for the guests with great rooms with great views and own lounge/living room with a coffee machine, fruit, fridge with beer and wine. Just like you would have at home. Couldn't have wished for a better place to stay - Excellent location, easy to find and easy to park in front of the house. Great view from the balcony. I'll come back definitely! - Clean, comfortable and in an excellent part of Cape Town. The area is safe enough to walk around and just up the road from the sea front. Burt, who is the owner is a wonderful host who will make you feel right at home. I would recommend this place to anyone visiting Cape Town.

The rooms are attractive and very clean. W - This was a delightful place to stay in a lovely tastefully furnished Victorian Lodge. We were made very welcome and nothing was too much to ask during our 4 day stay. The rooms were very comfortable with an excellent shower. Thank you to all the team that work there for making our stay so enjoyable!
