  I was there for a conference and everything was excellent: the room was comfortable and quite large, the linen very good, the food at the conference was excellent, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. I got an outstanding service, the place is very much comfortable. i was very much impressed by the fact that i paid for my internet access voucher for wireless, but when they found out that the server was done, i was kindly refunded.   This hotel lived up to all our expectations and more. We arrived at 10.30am and expected to just leave our luggage, but we were given our room straight away. All the staff were very accommodating and the room was very pleasant. The road was bellow our room but we did not hear any noise at all. A lovely big bath was a treat.   I stayed in the 2 Bedroom apartement (Mandela Gold), with my mother and two sisters. This actually accomodates upto five people, so we would have a guest here and there. This apartment is the best we stayed in Cape Town, it boasts wonderful views of the Harbour & Cape Town itself both during the day and night. From the star aprtments most places are just within reach, 15 mins to the Airport, Waterfront, Canal Walk Shopping Cen - Location is great, it was easy to get to all the tourist attractions. I stayed here with my girlfriend, it was very comfortable, safe and value for money. It is indeed a home away from home. Nearby there is a local convinience store. You will need a car to get around usually 15min drive to waterfront, canal walk, cape town CBD, rhodhes memorial, etc Hashim will look after you, he is the manager.

  This was an excellent hotel. It was situated just outside the Waterfront and although you could walk there, they had a courtesy bus that ran every half hour. It was also situated near to the cental area. We arrived early and they looked after our luggage until the room was ready. The room was clean and had all the facilities you would expect.
