genteel feel. The rooms were nicely sized, comfortable bed and kept
spotless by the staff. The rooms were well soundproofed so you had no
extraneous noise from other rooms. The restaurant was pleasant and the

part of town next to the parliament buildings but only a 10 minute
strol -
Staff eager to help us as we arrived early were leaving late and had to leave luggage at hotel. We were upgraded to double rooms with views of Table Top. A cheap taxi ride or walk from all the major city sites. Excellent breakfast included. Rooms spacious with all facilities. Compared with our hotel in Rio on the same trip and for the same price Townhouse was streets ahead. Can't wait to go back to Cape Town and when I do there's only one place I'll be staying - The Townhouse.

The staff is extremely knowledgable and friendly, the hotel is almost a B&B but with private facilities, easy to walk to most in town attractions, excellent breakfast very good and convenient before the start to the day, good connection to WIFI. Great location, great staff. This hotel is owner operated and family run. After one day, we felt like we were part of the owners family. Best concierge services I have ever experienced. The owner, Ursula, made reservations, oredered taxis, arranged tours and looked after us. The room was spacious and felt like an apartment. I could not recommend this place more highly

The apartments are extremely nice. We were a group of 6 friends that rented the penthouse and our expectation were topped, a superb view and a very nice, clean place. We were also surprised to see that the apartment had anything you would wish for in the kitchen. The washing machine came in handy as well. The hotel is just minutes to walk from the restaurants and bars on Long Street. At the ground floor of the hotel we found a supermarket / sushi restaurant that came in quite handy. All in all,
