  My wife and I spent five nights at the Akademie. We stayed in Ooirtgung Cottage (spelling probably not correct) which has a lot of history and is very charming; slightly secluded from the main house and other cottages it was perfect. Breakfast was fantastic; plentiful (need to diet now) and a real treat. Staff wer - -the room was just perfect: bright, clean, excellent furnitures taste. - home made food for breakfast - complementary drinks and snacks in the room - availability of the staff - perfect location in the city center

  I loved the slipper bath and felt it added a real sense of luxury to the bathroom. I spent a good 30 mins in it, unwinding and reading my book. I liked the privacy of the apartment and that staff did not hover but were there when you needed them. - Very central, within walking distance of the main street, restaurants and attractions.
