I can say that Five Stones hostel is really a good place to stay. The location is excellent, it's near restaurants, bars and tourist attractions. Transportation is not a problem at all. The bus stop is right at the doorstep. The young staffs are friendly and very accommodating. The place itself is generally clean. I will definitely stay at the hostel the next time I pay a visit to Singapore. :) I enjoyed my stay.

Loved the central location. It was a 10 min walk from the Bugis MRT and closer to bus stops.
Plenty of restaurants down Arab Street and adjoining streets and hence one has a good choice of reasonably priced meals. Many curious shops down Arab Street and adjoining Haji Lane to sate one's appetite.

hi all. I really just can recommend the shophouse and would always come back there if I will be in Singapore again. It is central in a nice district with a lot of restaurants and cafes. It has on every level free wifi, a awesome terrace, two Mac pcs and two windows (free) and a lot of lovely details. Great service what helped me come around and getting trips cheaper. So enaugh commercial..just test it!! Best regards and thanks again for everything guys. Ur cool! xxx

This is one of the best budget hotels one can find in Singapore (if not
the best one in town). The rate includes breakfast, whole day free coffee--

we stayed 2 days here, first day in double room with a shared bathroom, the room is clean the bathroom also clean. the 2nd day we stay the the triplet room and yey we get a private bathroom, its simple and super clean. i love the dining area, its soooooo nice, we usually go there before we go to sleep and enjoy the hot chocolate + snack (bring ur own snack =D )

2013) until this morning(25th May 2013), I am so happy that they
actually let us check in at 630am considering that check in time was
3pm(or2pm) :) but still the guy in the reception accommodated us &
is very friendly to tour me(coz my auntie is already tired) around the
place. I fell inlove with the view when we reach the Terrace :)

Very friendly and helpful staff. I arrived earlier than planned and the owner very kindly allowed me to rest in the common area until a bed became available.
maybe I was just lucky, but other patrons in dorm very considerate of others sleeping. Not a party party place. I hope it stays that way, and I will lodge there again.

Nearby amenities, restaurants, 7-eleven and ATM machine.
The owner was incredibly friendly and they had the most coomprensive guides inside the Hostel.
As soon as you walk in there is a wall full of useful information. Every place you want to visit is there! Complete with the route you need to take. Well done!
The shower, Internet and shared bathroom where always cleaned.
I will certantly recommend it.

Although it's just a capsule room, it's surprisingly comfortable. The toilet is always clean and dry, no smell. The shower flows well. Locker, hairdryer for free. AC is cold! Blanket available for free. WiFi in your room for free. 24-hour breakfast you can just open the fridge and eat cereals, bread, biscuits and drink tea, coffee, milk. They also have microwave and if you still need to go around after checking in you can leave your bags for free. Computer with internet for free!
