This is my second visit to this hotel, location is good, it is near to underground station, breakfast and diner are good too. I can not say: Staff are so friendly and they do not know english, but staff of reception knows english and they are very frendly.

Great location, an easy 15 min walk to Red Square and Metro stations less than 10 mins in either direction.
Friendly, helpful staff by Russian standards. Warm, clean, comfortable rooms and a good if unchanging breakfast.
Convenient small supermarket nearby helped offset high Moscow food and drink prices. -

The room was great. The hotel also has spa facilities and there was quite a variety for breakfast. There was also a choice of pillow, amde from different types of materials, if you were somehow dissatisfied with the comfort of your pillow. Complimentary bottled water for drinking was very much appreciated, and the mini bar was fully stocked.
The staff was very helpful, especially the concierge, who spoke English quite well, which is a rarity.

The location is great. Metro, airport express(from/to Sheremetievo) and supermarkets are all with minutes' walk and easy to find. Tourists can take Metro to reach almost all the hotspots of the city. It's also very convenient to go to other train stations. The english-speaking stuff is kind and willing to help. Wifi connection is good. -

Borodino Hotel is constantly improving their service. Free Wi-Fi in every room works just fine. Fresh, new and well equipped hotel at wise price - that's not so common appearance in Moscow...
Location - it's just a few steps from pedestrian street Arbat.
Metro station is just around the corner, but at the same time it doesn't bring You any unconfortability, any noise.
Breakfast was good (sparkling wine is included) - my proposal would be to book the room including breakfast . It's not so cheap if You buy it separately (~ 1100 Rubles).

Staff friendliness is particularly noted. It was good that most of the
staff - mainly Reception - speak fluent english. The hotel was clean,
rooms and common space. Also worth noting that a big added value results
from the hotel being close to the Euro-mall shopping center and the
Vystavochnaya metro station.
