Greatest hostel i have ever seen: clean, friendly, 24-hrs working recepcion-guy, everybody are helpfull: guests and stuff. 50% of guests have been living there more than one month. I stay there almost each week for couple of days, and i know almost everyone from this 50%: really good intelligent guys. The staff protects their guests from non-reliable people.
I likes the location: it is so close to red October, some sort of art
centre with restaurants and club, and to Kremlin. From my room, the view
at the Cathedral was beautiful. Also, it was very clean and the bathroom

Stolichny Hostel is at the centre of Moscow.Metro is so closed to hostel. i stayed a room with two bed.Room is clean and comfortable.7/24 markets open at near the hostel.Landlords are very good people and they helped us me much.
Excellent location and view, walking distance to Kremlin, Tretyakov,etc, quiet, refurbished apartment, ok bathroom, value for money.

The location is good as it is only 5 minutes from the Kremlin. The staff
were friendly and the 24 hour supermarket nearby is very useful.
The location is really central to most of places and near by river view is very cool. Staff is very cooperative.

The windows lacked of propre curtain, which made the good sleep more
difficult. The bed is also single size and not so confortable. I was
also glad I had looked for the directions on other travellers reviews,
cause the place is not indicated.
İt's difficult to find the hostel.It is in a big apartment.A woman helped us find hostel.You should be lucky to find the hostel without asking anyone or looking GPS.
Not as clean as expected- ok, but not excellent. Sometimes difficult to get to bathroom (one per circa 8 people). Staff speaking only Russian and very very limited English, so do not expect any real advice on sightseeing, but we managed at the end:-).

The Wi-fi didn't work for me for some reason.
As other people have mentioned, the place is hard to find. More effort
is needed to improve the directions. The curtains could also be improved
as they did not cover the windows and there was only one shower.
The hostel needs to have better guidance arrangement as i took 2 hours just around the block to locate it.
It's noisy. It has two shared bathrooms and one of them was out of
order. Also the cleaning of them were very poor.
