  The best location in Moscow. Friendly and qualified staff. Very friendly to my young grandson. Hystorical building and luxurious interiors. Sweet compliments (cookies) in the room (grandson was very glad). Free Wi-Fi thouout the location. Quiet place (main entrance side). Bath dress for 4 yo grandson. - We stayed at the Metropol Hotel for two... hva folk sier » nights with my friends. It was located just around the corner from Red Square, and within easy walking distance of most of the tourist attractions you would want to visit in Moscow. The staff were friendly, recognizing and greeting us as I came and went.

  The reception staff were very friendly and helpful and welcoming,always with a smile. Very good breakfast. Really couldn't have been more central for the main sites. We would definitely recommend to anyone. Lovely traditional style of hotel. - Smaller historical hotel in very central location close to Red Square and Bolshoi.   Staff was very helpful and spoke English very well. Location was about the best available in Moscow without getting into the really high priced hotels (i.e. Ritz Carlton) , about a 10-15 minute walk to Red Square and just a block from a nice strolling plaza with a couple of nice outdoor cafes to have a few drinks.
