  Amazing historic building in amazing location. I loved the old oak wood stairs and the old brick pavement. The decoration of the hotel is of good taste and matches the historic character of the building.   The location of the place was perfect, just a few steps away from the Clock Tower, outside the medieval fortress. You can easily park your car outside the Vila Franka, so we highly recommend it over staying right in the fortress, since it can get difficult to park there. The room was very, very big, charming and spotless. The design was splendid, ... hva folk sier » especially the bathroom. We find it a bit difficult to use the TV but Sighisoara is too beautiful to stay inside watching TV anyway. The place is curr - We loved our entire stay at Vila Franka. The personnel was helpful and delightfully interested in offering the best possible experience. We were offered a room upgrade and got to stay in one of the beautiful rooms with a canopy bed. The rooms are beautifully and tastefully decorated, perfectly clean and very comfortable. We also had lunch at the restaurant uphill and the food was delicious. We highly recommend this place and we'll certainly be coming back!

  Although the accommodation is not in the centre of the town and a bit of a walk away other factors outweighed this disadvantage by far. The landlady is very welcoming and seems to give a glass of schnapps on arrival and brings coffee to the excellent room in the morning. She does not speak English but can converse in German. Full marks for this gem of - Big but cozy and clean room with comfy beds. Lovely balcony with a great view over the old city. The private parking spots available are a big plus for a crowded city like Sighisoara. The location is a bit remote but it takes just around 20 minutes on foot to reach the city centrum.
