Excellent location if you want a quiet place near city center. Plenty of museums nearby. Perfect place to stay overnight during festivals or concerts which take place in Romexpo in Bucharest. Second visit in a row and if I visit Bucharest again next summer for another concert / festival, I will try to stay for the night again in this hostel. alle vurderinger » It was very nice everything..especially the athmosphere. Very joyfull people and very welcoming rooms. Even tough the price was ridiculously low the benefits were beyond what i was expected. The staff was very friendly and helpful and the room was amazingly warm, confortable and clean. also very good internet connection. Overall I really enjoyed my stay at Byzanthin!. If you know from the first that you are checking in a hostel and not a hotel then you will certainly be pleased with all the facilities. Comfortable beds, good sleep. The rooms were large and they were very clean. What was positive: Very good wireless connection and very helpful staff, they helped us to decide what is best to visit and the shortest and cheapest way to get there. Its nice to find good quality staff.Excellent conditions, very clean rooms and bathrooms, large lockers, large and comfortable beds. It was in a central place next to the metro station, well connected with the other parts of town. Nice location overall. There was where to park my car and there wasn’t any traffic around. The price was good and I recommend the hotel for backpackers and budget travelers. The hostel is located about 10 minutes walk from Gara de Nord and Victorieii Metro station. The people there were very nice and accommodated our need of another night and laundry. nothing other than the location. There was a little problem with my reservation, but it was solved with the help of staff. Towels are indeed a minus. It would have been perfect with a little TV in the room, but it's also totally okay without. I felt amazing and i have nothing to complain of. Unlike usually, the bathroom was quite messy this time. -----. small kitchen. The soundproofing of the building and the rooms is very poor, I could hear the music and conversations of my neighbors. There were no towels when we arrived, and the ones they gave us were old. There were a couple of things broken. No running hot water on the second day. no heating(but was not verry cold cold outside ) some verry noise sound in bathroom when you turn on the light.this problems can be fixed. no kitchen. Hot water doesn't work efficiency. Personel doesn't know english so really hard to communicate.no towel,no hair dryer. No wiffi on the first flor, poor pressure water, no parking place, just on the street. It was absolutely filthy. I understand the price is low but mopping the bathroom once a day would be sufficient. We were on holiday but unfortunately didn't feel like it because of construction outside, lack of mosquito nets and really dirty bathrooms. It also seems like people may live in the back but use the kitchen and common eating area leaving the mess for hours. Cleaning up after yourself didn't seem very enforced :(. dirty. spieer nets all over. bad smalling. the perfect environment to catch a disese.
