I loved the common room, it's an excellent idea being able to make your own food whenever you want and have access to the Internet for free.
If you want to go to the saly mines then don't go on an organised trip. take the mini bus from town - it only costs 2.5zl and the entrance fee is 49zl - save yourself 60zl. - No fuss, nice room,very clean,go

Excellent hotel. 5/5. It is located just on the edge of the oldtown which is where you want to be. When you arrive at the airport get the train into Krakow (£2.50). Greg & Tom has the best staff ever. Friendly, helpful and always there for you with a big(and beautiful) smile. You have to pay for the breakfast, but it's very worthwhile. The included dinner was very nice too. The rooms and showers/toilets were clean. This hostel has the best location, on the main street of Krakow. Definitely recommend!

I arrived after a 27 hr coach trip from London. THe receptionist who handled my booking was Joanna, the boss herself. I was immediately made to feel at ease and completely welcome, and nothing was too much trouble for her to do. THe other girls on duty during the two days of my first visit (I an currently here again for another four nights) kept up the standards set by Pani Joanna. I thouroughly recommend this establishment.

Its a very cozy place, a flat in an old building which has completely been refurbished as a modern apartment and turned into a hostel.
The staff is super friendly and really helpful.
The place is very clean and feels more as a "home" than as a hostel. Its a 4 bedrooms apartment after all. Bathrooms have a nice standard and they were very clean. -

Hotel is very good situated, only about 12 minutes of walk from the main market and 15 minutes of walk to get to Wawel castle. We got an apartment, and for two people it was perfect. It looks very new and its decorated in boutique style. Wi-Fi was also working OK and stuff had no problem to speak English.

Fantastic hostel! The location is excellent, right in the heart of Krakow's Old Town and just 10-15 mins walk from the station. The hostel itself was very clean, the staff were friendly, the beds were really comfortable with fresh sheets provided. There was plenty of locker space with complete wifi coverage and breakfast thrown in.

The Tulip in close to everything. The staff...Omid and Reza are friendly and helpful and they go out of their way to make sure your stay is enjoyable. Since it is a fairly new hostel, it is a work in progress..so they are still improving it. It is clean, safe and inexpensive, an excellent place to see the sights and experience Krakow by foot. All the interesting place are walkable.

Very good location for travelers. 2mins walk from Krakow glowny train station and center bus station, 5 mins walks to no.304 bus station which is go to salt mine, 10mins walk to old town and 15mins walk to wawel castel. I find this a quiet spot good for a sense of real neighborhood life, on the way to Wieliezcka Salt Mine attraction, The host family is kind and helpful. WiFi is good, bedding fresh, and a feeling of privacy in a big home. Having a little kitchen in the room is convenient. I like the big bathtubs in the shared bathrooms. An excellent value. I will stay again.
