  WE loved the reception we received from Thomas - he was sincerely helpful, cheerful and friendly. We asked for an extra heater and he brought it over almost immediately. He offered information and helpful suggestions eg when we asked about fishing and was available at all times. Excellent value for money, friendly and helpful staff but what makes it unique is LOCATION. Facilities are also good, free parking, wifi works well, coin laundry. You can rent motor boats or kayaks to explore the breathtaking fjord. Highly recommended !

  Our room was clean and comfortable. The school were the hostel is situated is in a very nice area and has fantastic view of the fjord. Very representative selection in the morning buffet also! - Friendly staff, quiet location, plenty of parking

  After 10 days of Oslo, Bergen, Alesund and the fjords, what a pleasure to find this lovely place. Direct return to nature at its best. Very large room, three windows, no curtains ( wake up early or bring a mask ). Simple breakfast, no dinner unless ordered in advance. The style Is super simple, raw. Just nice ! - The owner & staff are wonderful and very interesting. Great conversation with them & with other guests. The setting is spectacular, in a quiet way. Because it is small and a little hard to find, you won't find roaming busloads of tourists. The facilities are simple, not luxurious - but very comfortable and perfect for the environment.

Don't make just a one night stop as we did passing through. As soon as you leave you'll feel sorry you did. If I could give you some advice, that's what we would do: 1. Book for a week. 2.   The location is incredible. Such beauty all around you! We stayed in an apartment with a porch that overlooked the fjord and village of Geiranger - so amazing - and it was very cute and clean. The woman who runs the place was a delight and so friendly and helpful, so much so that you want to give her your money.
