  Friendly smart attentive, and willing members of staff from check in to check out. Staff were the best I have known, primarily as quite chilled and not overly formal. I simply cannot stand any place where the staff appear subservient. Here the balance was perfect. Cleanliness 10/10. Top brand bathroom goods, and above all the hotel has a nice atmo... hva folk sier » sphere. Oh, and the price of approx. £110 per night was fair for central Oslo. The only complaint I have is about the couple who sat at the breakfast - When I checked in to this Hotel i didn't like the first room I had, I am very particular in when it comes to colors of my sorounding specially when it comes to the colors of room or colors of the curtain( some people are just like this) I called the reception right away and asked them if they could give me another room with light soroudings...5 minutes later they gave me the room that was just perfect..excellent service..no wonder I am here when I am in Oslo.

  The reception staff was fabulous. I interacted with several of them over three days both to change rooms (I asked if I could move to the front) and due to a lost baggage issue I was having with the airline. I did move to the front where the room's high ceilings and high windows over looking the park were fabulous. The morning buffet was a nice combination of the usual Scandinavian choices and the breakfast room al - The hotel is, as the name implies, centrally-located. It's a one block walk to the Nationaltheatret train/metro station (so getting to and from OSL airport is a breeze!) You're also within easy walking distance of many of the main tourist attractions. The room (I had a double) was quite nice, with large windows and high ceilings. Their breakfast was also on point (definitely worth waking up for, especially given how expensive food is in Norway.)   Stayed for a weekend, booked a standard double room for one person via letsbookhotel.com. Nice price, 1800 nok for two nights including breakfast. Finding the hotel is easy, it's next to Stortinget in the centre of Oslo. The hotel has rooms with windows opening out to the streets as well as rooms with windows opening only to the restaurant/breakfa... hva folk sier » st area in the middle of the hotel. I contacted the hotel in advance of my arrival, asking for a room with a window towards the street. They responded - Perfect central location. 1 minute from the Parliament, 3 minutes to the Town Hall and harbour. Less than 10 min walk from main train station. Staff very friendly, we even got upgraded from a superior room to a suite. Very clean. Breakfast selection very very good. Free wi-fi included, plus 2 PCs in the lobby connected to a printer, so we managed to check in and print our boarding passes on our last day.

  Jeg følte meg hjemme og ble tatt godt vare på. Jeg måtte inn til Oslo i full fart pga jeg skulle bli farmor innen 24 timer. Jeg måtte jo dele dette med resepsjonen og de var så søte og hjelpsomme. Jeg ble farmor til en liten pike så nå må jeg komme til Oslo ofte for å følge litt med oppveksten. Jeg må kanskje se på tilbud da, weekend er nok best.   Jeg likte madrassen i sengen samt frokostbuffeten (godt brød). Vi kom rett fra ferieopphold på 4-stjerners i Bulgaria, men der var madrassen hard samt dårlig frokostbuffet (ikke mye å skryte av brødene og av pålegget), så det var deilig å komme hjem til en frokostbuffet av norsk standard. - Sengene var topp!   Good central location, easy to walk to all attractions from the hotel. The rooms were basic and small but clean and the bed was comfortable. For the price in Oslo it was excellent value for money. WIFI was fast. We didnt have breakfast here (95 krona) but wished we had, seeing as Oslo is such an expensive city, we went to a bakery and ended up pay... hva folk sier » ing 360 krona for the four of us, just for sandwiches and pastries. - My daughter and I loved Smart Hotel! Our room was so clean and comfortable 638. We stayed from Friday to Sunday and then went to Porsgrunn. Unfortunately we didn't book for our return stay and had to book into a different hotel :( as Smart Hotel was fully booked. Loved everything about it. Thanks for a wonderful stay - so friendly and welcoming, Will be back! xx

  The reception Staff were very polite and friendly, as were the staff in the restaurant too. Incidentally the Breakfast was also very nice with a wide selection too. The standard room was small but clean and very modern.   Fikk tilbud om å oppgradere rommet til buisniss class, og da fulgte det med frokost på rommet. Dette satte vi enormt pris på, en luksus vi ikke får ellers med to morgenpigge barn :) - Da vi viste fram bookingbekreftelsen fikk vi et bedre rom enn vi hadde betalt for. Frokosten var bra og de som serverte frokost gav en fantastisk service.
