Excellent facilities in a tremendous location. Really well-run establishment, where proactive service was top of the agenda.Room beautifully decorated and clearly a lot of fore thought gone into the functionality of the units. I will most certainly look forward to returning here!. We thought the Acapulco offered excellent value for money. We were really impressed with the size of our studio unit, the friendly helpful staff and free wifi as well!. If we need to stay in Taupo again we will stay here.
alle vurderinger » Very nice motel, everything in place. Kitchen is fully equipped, but when I had craving for a real frying pan instead of electric one, I was given a private pan owned by the host. Nice and clean, close to Taupo lake. We were travelling with 3x families and it was very comfortable, relaxing, clean and modern. The room attendants were very friendly and helpful. The older man who was also busy within the rooms was always friendly. The greeting upon arrival was excellent service with maps given and super friendly, the room was clean and homely and the spa bath was heaven. Had excellent value for money and would definitely recommend to others. Really good feel to the place - easy walk to the lake and to town but nice quiet location. Staff available to give advice or leave you alone as you choose. Can self cater on a basic level if you want. Great service, very clean and tidy, comfortable beds, great kitchen facilites and close enough to town. Nice little sunny spot to eat breakfast on outdoor tables and out of the cold Taupo wind. I loved the greeting and the lovely chats and advice of what to do from the reception people. Nothing was a problem for them - really nice people and comfy beds and couch. And nice spa. staff very friendly & apartment very spacious. Spa bath & robes a bonus after a day of sightseeing. Ideal location close to lake. Laundry & drying facilities excellent. Obliging management. The night before we requested early check in and they ensured other guests were moved to accommodate this. Lovely gesture of a welcome pack on arrival. Unfortunately we were both unwell and when upgraded to the spa bath option and bigger facilities they were a delight however we could not take full advantage. We liked everything, the location, the service, the room, everything was great for us. Very comfortable, would stay there again, and recommend to all. Only stayed one night arrived at night and left before dawn - but the unit was neat and tidy, TV worked, had a little kitchen with Microwave etc. Quiet, relaxing with very good facilities for a 1 night stay. A bit far from the city centre. The motel was great but unfortunately the younger man (with glasses) who was at the counter when I returned the keys, wasnt very friendly, seemed too busy, just grabbed the keys and went at the back. Even when I said good morning while packing the car, he just looked at me in disgust, well thats the impression I got. He has spoilt it for everyone. We might come back or try another motel.... No complaints whatsoever. Nothing, it was all great!. Playground could do with a revamp and a fence. Nothing. Liked everything. Nothing to report. No dislikes. would have been good to have had more seating in the lounge area. Communal Spa pool was not very hot and not much bubbles. A few staples sticking out in carpet by lino. Nothing. Noting. Would of liked recycling bins. Spa bath was lovely for single person. Have to upgrade if want a 2 person bath. The parking area was rather cramp. there was a slight mix up with hte initial booking but everything was straightened out and all was good. Although the patio was described as private, it joined the main public area of the motel and offered no privacy. Heating unit. Can't think of anything I didn't like. In the add it said "garden views" which meant looking at a hedge 10m from our unit through the backdoor, so that didn't quite deliver. Also the photos in the add look a lot more flash and modern than the actual unit did. The village, nothing to do after closing of shops. A bit further from the downtown than best.
