City Stay The Hague is only 15/20 mins walk from either train station and is close proximity to the city centre. The City Stay is not a hotel but a self contained apartment/studio rooms with free WiFi. The building is located on a quiet street with no nearby shops or nightlife - there is a Albert Heijn supermarket only 5 mins walk away which is opened until 10pm. There is no staff onsite, only when you initially check-in and pay. I believe there is only 4 rooms in total for rental in the buildi. alle vurderinger »
Clean flat, great location to the center, very helpful lady (Helena) which sorted the heating very fast.
We were able to check in at 7am (great service) and leave our luggage and come back in the afternoon.
The hostess, Helena, was very welcoming, unofficious but friendly. The big room with rooftop views. Having our own cooking facilities.
great location next to Grote Markt which is within walking distance to all main city centre sights. very homely feel.
Nice, clean, central and comfortable - no issues.
Very handy to shopping area and railway.
I didn't see any visible smoke detectors in the room. Light switch for the toilet is located on the outside. No safe deposit box but my room was secure. Small CRT TV with bad reception but I didn't use it while I was there. There is loft access door just over the bed which I didn't like, having watched too many horror movies. The walls in the building could do with re-plastering.
The bedroom had no window, but it was fine since the living room had two huge windows.
Not a problem for us, but some older people might find the steep stairs to the upstairs room difficult.
No freezer compartment in fridge which you need if you stay more then one week in self contained unit.
