Lovely room, comfortable beds, nespresso machine was a nice touch. Breakfast was very good with a choice of cooked dishes and a cold buffet. The spa had just opened but we had forgotten our swim suits.

The location, facilities and above all the staff who were very friendly and helpful.
This was especially true when I caught "Dutch Flu" and they let us stay in the room for an extra 2 hrs until it was time to go to the Airport - Gaston's suggestion.
Also Gaston's mum who runs a shuttle service to the Airport deserves a positive mention. Thanks again.

The staff were very friendly, helpful and courteous. They answered all our munerous questions about the area, as we had not been in this location before. They gave good advise about things to see and transport.

Had two rooms...quite modern...WiFi worked well, but had to keep inputting the code. Restaurant was fantastic...very limited menu (two choices), but the food was great!
Great parking garage. Rooms were very modern; not sure that the mural of "wheels of Gouda cheese" is the best for a suite give that there are a million canals and amazing photo ops in the area, but that is a minor point.

The breakfast was excellent, the food was great and so was the staff - The hotel is situated directly on the LF2 long-distance cycling route from Brussels to Amsterdam, just by a ferry crossing (daytime only - otherwise use one of the tunnels). It is well worth paying a little more for a river view. The rooms and bathrooms are spacious and comfort

Everybody was very friendly. The service was excellent. Parking spaces are great ( when you stay at a hotel at the boulevard you have to pay for the parking at the road ) and the fact that you can leave the car for the whole day when checked out, is very generous. - Kindness of the staff, location, and good breakfast

Villa Augustus is a beautiful hotel set in the the picturesque townof Dordrecht. We spent two nights in a family room which was a reasonably sized room with king size bunk beds. Friendly staff. Spacious room with nice design and comfortable bed. I got a room with a terrace on the garden and the view was fantastic. This hotel is unique, they have a nice/large garden where they grow fresh vegetables for the hotel's kitchen. Dordrecht train station and the city center are almost 20 minutes walking from the hotel.

The front desk phoned us once we went to our room just to ask if everything was to our wishes - Although I had a printed confirmation, the hotel had no record of my booking. Fortunately there were plenty of rooms availkable. The front desk staff could not have been more helpful in sorting things out. They deserve commendation.
