We had an excellent stay during our 3 nights at Park 9. It is in a beautiful setting across from Sarphatipark, in a very nice part of Amsterdam. The house itself is really nice and the bedrooms are of the highest quality that you will find in Amsterdam. Really nice to go "home",after a day of walking and sight seeing, and relax with a nice bath(huge clean tub)and a cup of herbal tea. We also saved money buying a muffin the night before and have our coffee and muffin in the am. before going out. The location is very convenient to all canal boat stops, on a quiet street in a pleasant neighborhood.

Gijs was an excellent host. He helped us before arrival and during the stay. We loved the character of the house (we stayed in the loft room). It was very close to everything in Amsterdam. Rather than feeling like a tourist staying in a hotel, we felt like we are staying in our own house. Perfect value for money! Amazing breakfast.

The Inn on the Lake is one of the loveliest hotels we have visited. Our room was utterly charming, and the service was very gracious. We enjoyed a delicious breakfast with a lovely view of the lake. Our hostess was so helpful as we planned our tours for the next day. We definately plan to visit the Inn in the Lake again.
