Amsterdam and had to leave our baggage in the hotel before the check-in
time, but that was absolutely no problem. The room is perfect, clean and

Excellent stay. We chose this as it is something different and more fun than an ordinary hotel and it was fabulous. Centrally located (10 mins walk from Centraal) but quiet. The standard of accommodation was excellent. Lovely to sit in the wheel house with a drink in hand looking out over the water. Very friendly and helpful host. Would definitely stay here again.

Sentralt beliggende. - very central and easy to find, staff were friendly and helpful, food next door was beautiful, room was clean but basic. I have stayed in Amsterdam a few times and I would definately stay there again. - All the staff including the receptionist have been very nice and helpful through our stay at the France Hotel

We liked the location - very accessible/walking distance from the central train station and to the city center. Guests can simply pick up anytime, free bottled water, and apple/banana at the reception area. The warm cookie for incoming guests is a nice way to welcome everyone. Wifi works well. You could not wish for a better location. The hotel staff are awesome and some of the most helpfull and friendly I have ever experienced. The apartments themselves offer you a little bit of Amsterdam. The canal views are amazing and we loved having breakfast looking out on what felt like 1 of the best views in Amsterdam. -

The location was the best thing about this hotel - it is right next to the red light district - which is pretty central to everywhere in Amsterdam - all the places we wanted to visit were at most a 20 minute walk away, therefore public transport was not needed. We had booked a small double - which was definitely small, however for our 3 night stay, this was perfect for us. A very nice place to stay with friendly and especially helpful staff. Breakfast is good, the place is spotless, and it is to very close to the sights, and the train station. Since it is a docked boat it is also very quiet.

The price and location are good, and it's interesting to stay on a canal boat. In the summer, this boat cruises the waterways of France. As long as you expect cramped, boat cabin accommodations and a staff of one, it's fine.
