The room was spacious and very comfortable. We were given the room that overlooked the center and It was discussed that if we were to return we would stay for an extended time.   What a gem! Such a special place, right on a small canal. This is a home from home and I'd recommend staying in Haarlem rather than Amsterdam with children as it's 15 minutes by train into Amsterdam and the same time to the beautiful beach. Haarlem is a mini Amsterdam without the awful crowds and the house was a perfect haven.
