First of all, when we arrived, Goran (the manager) was waiting for us. He explained everything, gave tips of places to visit the city, showed the whole house and its facilities. I could feel immediately the level of care and love he put even in the smallest details... The location is perfect, less then 10 minutes walk from the train station. Fantastic location just round the corner from Centraal Station, was easy to find - its basically above the Resin coffeeshop. Beds were alright for a short stay, good enough kitchen facilities for us to cook up a couple of very tasty meals. Decent size bathroom with a good shower. I loved the experience of staying in this beautiful, well maintained, centrally located typical Amsterdam building which was the main reason I picked this place. The room was tactfully and pleasantly decorated as well as the kitchen/dining area, which was very spacious and modern. The bathroom in our room was HUGE and fancy. The room was a good size, nicely furnished and with a working tv. The
bathroom was really nice too, very clean and had a hair dryer. We loved
our stay here as it was right next to the flower markets so it was easy
to find our way there (once we already knew where it was) and it
wasn't too loud at night. -

Gijs was an excellent host. He helped us before arrival and during the stay. We loved the character of the house (we stayed in the loft room). It was very close to everything in Amsterdam. Rather than feeling like a tourist staying in a hotel, we felt like we are staying in our own house. Perfect value for money! Amazing breakfast.
