  Best place I've ever stayed in Amsterdam! Compared to cramped hostels, tiny, old inner-city hotel rooms and overly distant, unkempt pensions, this place is paradise. Beautiful garden, relaxed and informative staff (thanks Emily!), as well as extremely comfortable and cosy double room were the highlights of our stay. It's close enough to everything in Am - A very friendly owner of this B&B offered us a cosy, very Amsterdamish accomodation which I can recommend. The owner was very helpful and uncomplicated and the room was clean, lightened, nicely furnished and quiet. Everything you need is around and there is a good tram-service to the city-centre. It is an alternative to a hotel room.

  We stayed in the basic room. Though very small, it was very well equiped, nothing was missing, from hair dryer to coffee facilities. The view was very nice, right on the Amstel river, giving you the sensation you were actually floating. It has good heating, sound-proof rooms and is situated relatively close to the center - 10 minutes walk to Rembr... hva folk sier » andt Square. Mirjiam was very nice, delivering breakfast every morning to our room. It was very clean and cosy. There was no reception, so you were on - Stayed in the suite - nicely decorated, tons of kitchen tools, two 2 piece bathrooms, lovely continental breakfasts each day and hosts that were very friendly and eager to please. The host also provided a ton of detailed directions for us before our arrival. They were also very responsive to our emails and texts.

  Our stay in B&B Amsterdam West was fantastic! Most of this success is the merit of the B&B owners :) We choosed their B&B on our Europe`s trip on the occasion of ours 20th wedding anniversary. Last time when we were together in 4-stars Amsterdam hotel in the center, we were not so contented as now :) Really! They are friendly, open and helpful in everything we asked for and we could - i've liked everything. It is impossible to not like. TO have an idea of what will cost you : Ticket with return from schipol 6 euros p/person , we stayed there for 4 days and we spend 21 euros in a amsterdam pass. you can ride the metro tram and the bus. The house has a great location , 1 minute to the tram. The host's were so lovely and friendly with us, they respect our space as we did the same. Amsterdam is famous for its houseboats, and Intersail Hostel - It locate 10 minutes from Central station and Damrak, near Old City with Red Light District. Living on boat were very exiting! Also if you arrive early in the morning it is given you breakfast to go.
