I really loved the staff from this hotel! Stuff there was very friendly and helpful, especially Deven, Manish, Gopal and Sanam - the guys who was bothered by me all the time. Definitely will stay here next time! This guys even provided me with a cell number to be able to contact them in case of any problem! They helped me to organise my sightseeing around Kathmandu, mountain flight and tour to Chitwan National Park. I had very few days to stay, so my schedule was pretty tight and they helped us.
alle vurderinger » the staff at peak point hotel are really helpful. no need to plan your trip up advance. just go to the hotel and talk to manish. He will set up your entire trip with reasonable prices. Even if you try to arrange your trip individually, you might save up some money, but the relaxation you get by having everything arranged and set up for you is worth the extra few dollars. Its really nice especially if you are visiting for a short period of time and what to see and do the most within a short peri. The rooms were clean and welcoming & had comfortable beds and working lights/power points etc. Although hotel is new building, (opposite Peak Point/sister hotel) it has still maintained Nepalese decor. The staff throughout the hotel were extremely helpful & accommodating & it was a pleasure to stay there. Also a short walk to major streets of Thamel, but far enough away not to be noisy. Highly recommend this hotel. The staff are some of the most friendly and helpful I've ever met. They went out of their way to make sure I was as comfortable as possible, and helped me navigate the city. The location is really convenient, near some great shopping and dining. Room passes muster, and the WiFi is pretty good. Breakfast is filling (I highly recommend one of the Indian breakfasts - greasy but delicious!). best hotel and friendly staffs, free wi-fi and very nice room ever i have not seen, Pickup service is also good and the staffs are very friendly and help who organized my trip to Nagarkot and Kathmandu valley sightseeing. Breakfast was simple but filling: omelet with mango juice, cup of nepali masala chai and a toast. I liked having the free pickup at the airport especially since I arrived rather late at night. The staff were always ready to help with a smile and the manager, Sujan, was a real bonus since he spoke good English and knew what he was doing in his role as manager. There's no backup generator for the daily rolling blackouts, the worst consequence of which is that the necessary fan goes out (it can get warm). Noise in the area can also get pretty annoying. The travel agent and manager mr. Sujan was quit pushy to book a tour at him, while he was more expensive than most others. Wifi worked slow and sometimes not at all in the room. Breakfast is the same everyday. A pick up service from the airport was agreed but no one appeared to pick us up, luckily Nepali people are really friendly and we got an agreement with one of the drivers from tourist association to drop us off at the hotel for free. The power outages which are common everywhere. The hotel manages as best they can under the circumstances. The wifi in the rooms is a bit dodgy, drops in and out a lot, however it is good in the reception area where there are comfortable couches. Only problem with that is you will probably be hopelessly distracted by the staff who love a chat!. Had no complaints with my stay here. Shower is a little cold and getting hot water can be difficult. n/a. n/a. None. nothing. it could have been more clean. they offered us inferior room than what I paid. Telephone line not working. We couldn't stay longer. The pushing of the chief who wanted promote trecking and services. The price is quite high. No electricity sometimes, but they have backup supply. Small dark room. Hotel was down a dark alley. I have booked deluxe room but end up with standard room because of not enough room. Hotel needs a lot of improvement. A bit dirty and basic toiletries weren't provided.
