  My wife and I stayed at La Perle du Sud for one night when we needed to make a last minute trip to Ouarzazate. We were pleasantly surprised by the place, it is nicely decorated, and we had a spacious and comfortable room with air conditioning.   Great facilities, lovely pool, billiard and cinema, great outdoor area and above all wonderful host francoise and Michel, who were helpful and made it all very easy for us. We had travelled a substantial time through Morocco and wanted to splash - One of the best hotels on our 20 day trip in Morroco. I mostly enjoyed the creativiness (hope that word exists) of the design of the construction. I believed it was an abandoned Kasbah reconstructed. The room is very smart and cozy. Totally worth it.

  This was our favourite stop on our trip, we stayed for two nights but would have happily stayed longer. Bagdad cafe is set against the gorgeous backdrop of the UNESCO World Heritage site: Ait Ben Haddou. It is a boutique hotel with only six rooms and a swimming pool run by a fabulous and welcoming family. Our room was very comfortable with a king ... hva folk sier » size bed and decent bathroom. Breakfast was served in the typical Moroccan style and food was also available for lunch and dinner. As it was our anni - We loved this hotel/hostel and it was a perfect place to stay for the one night we were there in order to see Ait Ben Haddou in the morning. Rose and her husband (and lovely kids - take them Haribo sweets as they can't get them in the area) couldn't have been more welcoming and we had one of the best meals in their restaurant of our entire 3 week trip around Morocco!!   We were looking for a comfortable place in the roses valley and read the reviews on Kasbah Chems, particularly on the fact that guided hiking could be organize from it.   The room was lovely with nice clean linen and comfy bed. The staff were really friendly. Breakfast was very good. Unfortunately our room didn't have an outside window in hot weather so spoilt our stay, otherwise it would have been 10/10. The staff lent us a fan but the room was still stifling. I am sure this is just a problem with that particular ... hva folk sier » room so ask for a room with an outside window! - Its a hotel, with hot water from the beginning, good and working WIFI everywhere, clean, separated almost new bathroom. The guy at the reception was extremely kind... So nothing to complain at all! And by the way the things mentioned above are not typical for Moroccan accomodations (except the staff, they were always very hospitable).

  Had a really comfortable and awesome stay in Studiotel Afoud. This possibly the best place you can stay in Agadir on a budget. Location is excellent and nearby all the best places for food and the beach is just 10min walk. Also market, pizzeria and snack bar closely. Beauti - Fantastic apartment style room in Studiotel Afoud with fully equipped kitchenette. There was one double bed and 2 sofa beds which easily accommodated 4 of us. The rooms were safe and very clean. The hotel is located in a good area around 10 minutes walk away from the beach. Local supermarkets and cafes are all a few short steps away.   We stopped in Taroudant en route to Essaoiura from the desert. As it happened, it was our one cloudy day in two weeks but despite the dank weather we ventured into the Medina city. It's only small, unlike sprawling Marrakech and provides a better reflection of ordinary Moroccan life. The receptionist was very welcoming and - A wonderful Riad with most beautifully and individually decorated and very clean rooms. Based on the very good description and fotos sent by the Riad after booking, it was very easy to find the Riad. All the staff, especially Ben, are very friendly and kind, so we enjoyed our stay very much. Our kids loved the wonderful little pool (which they could use even late at night). We would recommend this Riad to everybody.
